For a few months there have been stories--mostly rumors--on the Internet that Microsoft has been using hired guns to smear Google. While Microsoft can pretend all it wants, it does appear to feel threatened by Google's growing influence in the business software marketplace.
Now there comes a story that there is indeed something organized in the way of targeting Google. It is early now, but if this report is true, I think Microsoft should be held accountable for its actions, and there should be a lot of publicity about these kinds of "business" tactics.
Even the recent patent infringement decision that went against Microsoft in a U.S. court, which seemed silly at first, takes on a new light after you learn that Microsoft was not blind sided, but was acting in what appears to be a less than honorable way.
