I'm sure you've noticed that this web site has been created using Google Sites.
Google Sites is an incredibly easy to use, yet feature rich, tool to create your web content and publish it on the web. It's not necessary to make a site public--one can be a "group" site that only specific people have access to, either as viewers or editors. There can be multiple editors for a site, and they can be working on the site at the same time, as long as they don't work on the same page at the same time.
Creating pages in a site is really just as easy as creating a word processing document. The program does not need to be downloaded and installed on your computer. It runs entirely in your web browser, making it easy for you to get in and out to get your work done.
Google Sites is integrated with other Google products, such as maps, documents, YouTube and calendars. If you own your own domain, you can also point your sites to the domain, so they have addresses like help.mydomain.com, or shopping.mydomain.com.
If you want to give it a try, you can do so at sites.google.com. It is free to use. In about one minute you can be working on a new site.
